Restaurant Details

Gregg Johnson is better known for his pizza parlors and the popular Osteria Il Centro, but he’s gambling that midtowners will prefer eating chocolate-chip pancakes, eggs Benedict, and biscuits and gravy in his sunny dining room instead of their own kitchens. The place is comfortable and stylish, with good, robust coffee. The kitchen also offers homemade yogurt, organic oatmeal and sugar-free maple syrup for patrons who want to at least start the day on a healthy note. For those who don’t give a damn: breakfast pizza and crepes stuffed with guava cream cheese and drenched with whipped cream. — Charles Ferruzza
