Chad Waldrop (Club Kandi, the Hurricane, Flo’s Cabaret) returns to the club scene with Eighteen22 Ultra Lounge. Located in the former Tootsies spot in the Crossroads, the completely renovated space features three bars, separate VIP seating, 18 big-screen TVs, a smoking patio and a second-level DJ booth. Much of the same gay-friendly crowd remains during the week; on weekends, national touring acts such as Digital Underground and Devin the Dude entertain a packed house. In true ultra-lounge style, there is bottle service, and in true midwestern style there are $10 cheeseburgers and buffalo wings until 3 a.m. If the late-night party isn't your style, Eighteen22 opens at 9 a.m. during the week for food and cocktails.
