The old Cup and Saucer Wednesday night faithful have found a new midweek perk. Electro Sleeze (more E's equals more sleaze, evidently) is the name of the new Tuesday night outing aimed at electronic genre whores at Jilly's on Broadway. The night is held down by DJs cQuence (who some believe could actually be better at spinning house than drum-'n'-bass) and Murderbot, fresh back from the Netherlands with several ragga recordings under his belt on three labels. Murderbot and cQuence probably have more musical range in their record bags than most around these parts, and together they aim to unite a segregated electronica scene in Kansas City, even if only for one night a week. Their November 7 show features guest selectors Madame E and Suckapunch (pictured, with Murderbot and cQuence), bringing bassy electro, house and booty rollers for that ass. Don't sleep on Electro Sleeze.
