Tonight's show at Bar Natasha (1911 Main) will probably make you laugh and cry until mascara-muddied rivulets of tears run down your cheeks. One reason is that the bar is closing in five days. The other: an over-the-top cabaret show called Ban This IV: The Final Stab will make fun of everything, including politics, racism and KC's smoking ban. The show will feature burlesque performances by Annie Cherry and Lucky DeLuxe as well as appearances by drag queens De De DeVille and Dirty Dorothy (and others from the bar's Girly Show)."This isn't going to be your run-of-the-mill, 'I'm just going to walk in this bar and see what show they're doing tonight for free' thing," says organizer Spencer Brown, aka Miss Daisy Bucket. Expect a sequin-spangled extravaganza, especially because Brown is leaving in October to tour with the Kinsey Sicks, which bills itself as "America's Favorite Dragapella Beautyshop Quartet." "This is kind of like my farewell at Bar Natasha and also like Bar Natasha's final-week farewell," Spencer says. The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets cost $10.
