When the former Flamingo shed its wings to become the Isle of Capri, casino operators installed a signature fine dining restaurant complete with the apocryphal (and not particularly interesting) tale of a world wanderer named Farradday. The food tells a far more appealing story, with superb Louisiana-inspired dishes (including a decadent crawfish bisque and a pan-blackened prime rib), excellent steaks and fresh seafood, and an especially snappy lobster dinner. Its on the pricey side, so high rollers might want to sup before hitting the roulette wheel. — Charles Ferruzza
