Yeah, yeah, KC's favorite rapper rocked this category last year, but no one in the underground is beloved as much as this lyricist with the rat-a-tat-tat flow. Tech N9ne is cool people, and success and fame have not swelled his head. He is right at home in the grimy spots and cool wit' it at the upscale ghetto-fab hangouts. Kids, tight-ass professionals, and grandparents all love the man who has the guts to walk down the streets of Kansas City with "vile" painted on his forehead. --SE
