Kansas City’s old freight house may have been destined to be a barbecue joint. In this striking space, with its soaring ceilings and theatrical lighting, even plates of burnt ends or tender barbecued chicken and stacks of fried onion rings seem like cosmopolitan, gourmet fare. Good food , dont get me wrong. NOT THE BEST in KC by far. Way overpriced. Makes you think your eating at a steak house on the plaza. Ribs and sausage are really good. Burnt ends are good , but dont hold a candle to Arthur Bryants. Portions are not sizeable at all , for the money you pay. You pay for the steakhouse atmosphere. Sauce is average.
