Kansas Citys old freight house may have been destined to be a barbecue joint. In this striking space, with its soaring ceilings and theatrical lighting, even plates of burnt ends or tender barbecued chicken and stacks of fried onion rings seem like cosmopolitan, gourmet fare. Tourists and residents alike come for restaurateur Jack Fiorellas signature dishes, such as Crown Prime Beef Ribs, lamb ribs, barbecued fish and those rib-sticking side dishes, such as Cheesy Corn Bake and the citys meatiest baked beans. — Charles Ferruzza

Good food , dont get me wrong. NOT THE BEST in KC by far. Way overpriced. Makes you think your eating at a steak house on the plaza. Ribs and sausage are really good. Burnt ends are good , but dont hold a candle to Arthur Bryants. Portions are not sizeable at all , for the money you pay. You pay for the steakhouse atmosphere. Sauce is average.
