This Italian-American restaurant has moved a few times around Parkvilles main drag over the years before settling into this Main Street storefront. For years it was operated by the late Frank McCall; its now owned by former Ameristar chef Ali Mahzoon, who cooks dishes using the McCall family recipes. (It still takes three days to make the house sugo.) The best-selling dish here is still the Italian steak sandwich, but all the pasta dishes are solid and comforting. That includes lasagna rolls, a meatless spin on traditional lasagna with the seasoned ricotta rolled up in a sheath of pasta. — Charles Ferruzza
