Less than a block from Kemper Arena, Grandma’s is a no-frills drinking joint. It draws a mixed crowd that comes in to play pool and drink beer. Much like Connie’s Genessee Inn, the bar that preceded it, Grandma’s is friendly and raucous. A good spot to get a fast, cheap lunch, Grandma’s also serves killer steaks on the weekends, which isn’t surprising given its West Bottoms location.
