The winter-holiday season isn't traditionally the best time of year for live local music, but that is delightfully untrue this Thanksgiving weekend.
Davey's Uptown Ramblers Club (3402 Main) has put together a Friday-night bill of local bands as varied and delicious as a Thanksgiving feast. Atlantic Fadeout — the newest project from local songbirds (and lovebirds) Abigail Henderson and Chris Meck — whips up a hearty dish of blues-tinged rock. The Expassionates, one of the finer long-lived Americana acts in town, bring a healthy dollop of twang to the table. It's a veritable cornucopia for only $7.
