Given the enormous success of their family-owned-and-operated Al-Habashi Mart, it makes sense that owners Tawfig and Salha Al-habashi would open the Habashi House Restaurant right next door. Specializing in Middle Eastern cuisine and drawing upon the variety of ingredients offered at the Mart, the restaurant menu includes lamb, beef and chicken specials, plus gyros, dolmas, Arabic rice, hummus, baba ghanoug, tabouli, and Arabic and Mediterranean salads. And with most dishes going for around $5, yummy comes cheap here.
