Restaurant Details

Since 1955, this tiny 24-hour diner (just 12 stools at a counter and five small blue booths) has served classic American diner fare: breakfast all day, grilled burgers, hot dogs, chili, tenderloins. It looks like a 1950s roadside diner: shiny stainless-steel kitchen, tile floors, lots of windows, a couple of manly cooks tossing burger patties on the grill and dumping fries into sizzling oil and ladling thick sausage gravy onto biscuits – all at the same time. The burgers are paper-thin – you might do a double-take at the size of a double cheeseburger – but fabulous anyway, smothered in onions.
