Hey, Weatherman

Sure, Busby, issue your life-saving warnings. Then let’s get back to Jack.

Hey, you, Bryan Busby! You and your crack weather team dominated an entire episode of Lost, which happens to be the only thing that makes me truly happy. Five minutes into the show, you came barrelin' in with your oh-so-impressive Doppler displays and frequent, failed attempts to reach your remote comrades. If people are in imminent danger, I'm all for keeping them informed. But you, with your Busby smugness, really got my goat when you announced that you were taking over the airwaves indefinitely. I felt your big, brown eyes judge me, insinuating that your report was more important than my happiness. You could've chimed in briefly, then added a crawl to the bottom of the screen. Hell, you could've had a floating Busby head espousing updates in comic-strip bubbles. I would've been totally fine with that, as long as you didn't cover up Sawyer's shirtless torso.

Send anonymous confessions, congratulations or accusations to heyyou@pitch.com.

Well said!

Also, let's not forget that all this alarmism coming from our local weathermen is desensitizing us to the possibility of any real storm threats!!! When is the last time you really went to your basement when the alarms went off?

That's what I thought.
