Just out, Alan Goforth's Historic Photos of Missouri (Turner Publishing Company, $39.95) compiles about 200 black-and-white images, taken from the 1870s through the 1970s, from around the state. Among the often striking archival photos are a number of shots taken in and around Kansas City. Thanks to the publisher for providing these 10 entries from the book.
