Invicta FC4

January 11, 2013
Invicta FC4, Kansas City's homegrown women's MMA promotion, went down at Memorial Hall January 5. The 13 matches with fighters from all over the world (Japan, Austria, Scotland, Des Moines) were shown streaming live online. The main event of the night was Invicta's first strawweight championship bout between Bec "Rowdy" Hyatt and Carla Esparza. Shannon Knapp, CEO of Invicta, said in an interview with mmajunkie.com that the promotion will be moving to Irvine, California, in April. So if you missed this wagon, we're sorry. But you can see these photos from Brooke Vandever instead.
