Jason Boland and the Stragglers

YouTube: “My Baby Loves Me When I’m Stoned” by Jason Boland & the Stragglers (Live):

Ever wonder what rednecks listened to after they boycotted the Dixie Chicks? Jason Boland and the Stragglers is a good guess. The Oklahoma-born Boland is the antithesis of Natalie Maines' country-pop, opting for crass, sawdust-on-the-floor outlaw twang. With songs such as "Jesus and Ruger" and lyrics that would make Waylon and Willie blush (If I bring home another woman, she just gives me a smile, we take off our clothes and then we fuck in a pile, from "Rich Young Dumb Nymphomaniac"), Boland doesn't even pretend to keep it classy.
