Jeremy Enigk

Wednesday, August 2, at the Bottleneck.

Jeremy Enigk can do no wrong. He's like the Bono of emo. As one of the movement's pioneers (with his band, Sunny Day Real Estate), Enigk is a god to pretentious music buffs everywhere. After the Sunny Day disbanded, Enigk moved on to solo projects and a new crew, the Fire Theft. He's on the road promoting his second solo album, World Waits. According to Enigk, the disc picks up where his first solo record left off but develops into a much more mature collection. The new album coincides with the founding of Enigk's own label, Lewis Hollow Records.
