Saturday, February 20, the Kansas City Art Institute celebrated its 125th anniversary with a black-tie party at the Kansas City Convention Center. Headlining the night: KCAI grad Nick Cave, who outfitted performers in his soundsuits. Forester Michael's black-and-white rehearsal photos give way in this slideshow, Wizard of Oz-style, to color images from the event.
