Kansas City Wizards beat Manchester United at Arrowhead Stadium

July 26, 2010
British soccer powerhouse Manchester United took on the Kansas City Wizards in the first event at the newly refurbished Arrowhead Stadium Sunday evening. The friendly match, which served as a preseason warm up for United, had moments that were highly unfriendly, including Wizards defender Jimmy Conrad getting a red card for denying a scoring opportunity. The Wizards prevailed with first-half goals from captain Davy Arnaud and Kei Kamara and a frantic defensive effort. Pitch photographer Scott Spychalski captured the first loss of United's North American tour.
