Kansas City's most famous fugitives via the FBI's Ten Most Wanted list
March 12, 2010
The mugs of 20 fugitives with ties to Kansas City have made the FBI's "Ten Most Wanted Fugitives" list, which celebrates its 60th anniversary March 14. Here's a look at KC's most wanted.
Orba Elmer Jackson, an escaped federal prisoner, was the seventh person on the list, captured on March 23, 1950, two days after making the list. He was caught after a citizen spotted Jackson's wanted poster in an Oregon post office and recognized him as a farmhand. Jackson didn't put up a fight when he was arrested in Aloha, Oregon.
