The museum is housed in Corinthian Hall, a 50-room turn-of-the-century mansion located in Kansas City's historic Northeast neighborhood. With its marble floors, stained glass windows and interior detailing, Corinthian Hall is a graceful backdrop for the Museum's many exhibits. The permanent exhibits feature artifacts and audio/visual shows to interpret the history of the Kansas City metropolitan region from the time of the Osage Indians to the opening of the Hannibal Bridge in 1869.
