But the family-owned Kin Lin has always had a faithful following, including well-heeled midtowners who love the place in spite of its erratic service and depressingly grim interior décor. But wait! A makeover has turned the dowdy dining room into a tidy, mirrored little jewel box with even more space with the addition of a second dining area next door.
