Kokopelli is a lively and spirited venue for Mexican fare in Prairie Village. The owners, Kevin and Tammy Lyman, put a sexy spin on the traditional cantina, playing upbeat music (including disco, if the mood is right) and serving lots of different tequilas and fruity margaritas. They serve hefty portions of reasonably priced (and modestly spiced) fare, including spinach-and-cheese enchiladas, crabmeat enchiladas, meaty burritos and sizzling platters of fajitas. And its one of the few Mexican joints in town that actually serves an edible variation of fried ice cream — Charles Ferruzza
