At this laid-back storefront joint, patrons order Latin-American cuisine at the counter and then wait for servers to bring the food to the uncloaked tables. It's not fancy, but chef and co-owner Alejandro Lule puts a lot of flair in the food, which includes dishes native to Mexico, Argentina, Brazil and El Salvador. The expected Mexican offerings, such as enchiladas and tacos, are fine, but the unusual dishes dazzle, including a Brazilian steak salad made with lime-marinated sirloin and topped with fragrant Argentinian chimichurri sauce, blended from herbs and peppery vinegar. Wash down the Salvadoran enchiladas with a big glass of lime-and-ginger Brazilian "lemonade" or horchata, made with rice milk and cinnamon (or settle for beer, tequila or wine). — Charles Ferruzza
