More than 50 works spanning the career of American plein-air painter Lois Dodd are on exhibit at the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art (4420 Warwick, 816-753-5784) in Lois Dodd: Catching the Light. Running through August 26, this first-time retrospective of Dodd’s work includes several images of the places she holds in high esteem – mostly on the East Coast. Admission is free.
