Looks that rock

Heavy on prints and accents, autumn's fashion trends call for chunky knits, ruffles and blazers. See how Kansas City couture stacks up at the third installment of the Rock N Fashion Show, presented by Creative Talent Agency at Crosstown Station (1522 McGee, 816-471-1522). Check out the fall collections of boutiques Encore and Denim Couture, the recycled workings of Saum Frock, the painted logos of Nathaniel Renewal, the bright pattern pairings of Take a Halliday, and the colorful shreds of MIM Designs. Local acts Heroes and Villains, the P. Lentz Project and Waiting for Signal will provide appropriate sounds for strutting and ass shaking.  General admission tickets cost $5; super-inspired fashionistas and fashionistos can throw down $10 for VIP entrance to an upstairs after-hours party with the designers and models. Doors open at 7.
