Moon Beams

It's worth noting that Halloween was originally a festival marking the end of the harvest season, as well as a period when the division between the living and the spirit world was thinnest, hence the title Lunar Gathering 3: Moon Spirits vs. Harvest Monsters. The intent of the shindig is to present new art in the Lawrence community, an idea of creation that dovetails nicely with Halloween's role as the start of the Celtic new year. Providing the music: 1,000,000 Light Years, Tinhorn Molly, Owl People and ET&T. And you'll see art from the Fresh Produce Art Collective and Asteroid Head at the Eagle's Lodge ballroom in Lawrence (1803 West Sixth Street). Admission costs $3. See myspace.com/tidelunar for more information.
