When members of the Jim Rose Circus sideshow brought their freaky selves to Lollapalooza in '92, it was widely reported that their antics made audiences vomit. Pain Tribe is one such troupe. It brings twisted talent and active endorphins to Davey's Uptown (3402 Main, 816-753-1909) for an evening of extreme pain endurance, fire-breathing and general freakery. Expect clowns, beds of blades, flesh pulls, a human pincushion and a man-eating chicken. You'll have to be there to find out if that's just a dude eating chicken meat.
