Out of Time & Space Astrology

Back by popular demand: Tarot & Astrology akin to your gas station now known as GPS and road map.

Capricorn/Capricorn Rising* (Dec 21-Jan 19): Your Tarot GPS (TGPS) moves in delight at fall's middle. You and Scorpio have so much in common. Your two signs are the "sisters of a different mother." Siblings with mutual suspicion and mistrust of the superficial, you must release reactionary cynicism. At least investigate what's giving you a seemingly jaundiced eye. Everyone is not out to get over on you. Everyone is not interested only in what's below your belt (whether your pants sag or not). New moon in Scorpio highlights your place in your chosen community, exuberantly speaking about how we can move beyond our worst hurts. You teach those who listen how to manage our expectations without becoming jaded and nastily rebellious. You are more likely to develop a mercenary, "ends justify the means" reality, when you have not allowed yourself to feel love given to you and, more important, accept what you are feeling.

Aquarius/Aquarius Rising* (Jan 20-Feb 19): You abhor hierarchy. Class status based on ancestral wealth smells. Taking out an argument based on reincarnation, you think it's folly to trade upon what you did not earn, unless said wealth is being offered to you when you need it the most. Sure, it's people you do not like, but the concept of humanity sharing beyond outmoded capitalist models usually works for you. Scorpio time of you places your role in your community under a magnifying glass. Some games you may just have to play in order to advance. With Uranus (freedom) in Aries (individual spontaneous effort), you have little choice but to respond to your career's next steps in the moment when they are presented ... leaving your worst-case scenario premonitions behind. Can't get through Scorpio without letting go of some of your baggage. Your three spilled cups have spoiled in archaic beliefs of your own presumed scapegoat characteristics. Who hurt you so badly when you thought yourself powerless? Begin reframing that pain, now.

Scorpio/Scorpio Rising* (Oct 23-Nov 21): Your TGPS (Tarot Global Positioning System) comes in this week under the Five of Cups. Being a profound feeling sign, you can become entranced with your own emotional depths. Refusing to let anything go, you easily get locked into the grief of milk that has spilt. It'd be better to look into the two or three cups nourishment that you're expecting to fulfill you than to look backwards to where you've have become to familiar with hurt, pain and disappointment.. Helping you this week is none other than a New Moon in Scorpio on Wednesday, October 26 at 2:55p. Increased focus on your special brand of individual behavior and moxie. Even though you might like lots of light shining your way, we want your illumination. To reiterate, stay sitting prettily between those you want to seek some kind of revenge (not forgetting). Take the higher ground where no one can touch you.

Sagittarius/Sagittarius Rising* (Nov 22-Dec 19): As you develop your particular intuitive gifts that brings wisdom to you and your associates, you perceive middle fall to be heavy. You can handle the dense and intense, just not the boring or dumb. Your inner world has been giving you a go for its money regarding your seeing multiple dimensions. It's like bizarro world, what's up is down akin to your playing the role of Alice. You're the zodiac's ultimate traveler, so exactly where is your wonderland? With your identity and expansive philosophical self meet each other in a state of clarity, you can feel you can rarely do enough for your family. Bite, but don't shoot, the bullet untilme games you may just have to play in order to advance. With Uranus (freedom) in Aries (individual spontaneous effort), you have little choice but to respond to your career's next steps in the moment when they are presented ... leaving your worse case scenario premonitions behind. Can't get through Scorpio without letting go of some of your baggage. Your three spilled cups have spoiled in archaic beliefs of your own presumed scapegoat characteristics. Who hurt you so badly when you thought yourself powerless? Begin reframed that pain, now.

Pisces/Pisces Rising (Feb 18-Mar 20): Your Tarot GPS loves this time of year. It is one of the most optimistically expansive months. Scorpio's five cups dovetailed exquisitely with your emotional largess. You are more likely to "get got." You are a proverbial misunderstood soul. Darker and longer nights mean a longer time to introspect on how mutual intimacy can be not only explored and expressed, but acted on. Cuddling has a mixed, but at times, sublime blessing of being foreplay and afterglow. In medieval times, a widow was socially obligated to wear black for a year. Good thing we've allegedly evolved. Let your darker feminine impulses show. In other words, accept the vanity, jealousy, envy, greed and intolerance, but go for broke, access where you either learned these sabotaging behaviors or co-opted them without question. Refuse to fall prey to pettiness. Do this, and you'll be "getting got" by even more folk.

Aries/Aries Rising* (Mar 21-Apr 19): You aren't normally reflectively insecure, yet midfall brings up neuroses that can be examined only from past lives. Depending on your soul's age, you'll think my message is fool in direct proportion to how young you sense your soul to be. Might be time for a soul retrieval session. Oh, you older-soul Aries spirits know exactly what I mean. Younger souls have already clicked onto another link. Whatever, but know this: Middle fall brings up those areas that consistently haunt your bravado. Giving you massive spiritual assets is Mars (your guardian) in Leo. Passion exhibited nets you the just out of reach brass ring. Feeling unheard? Then you have not demonstrated how important the issue is to you, to us. Sometimes, we do not believe what you have not passionately (and courageously) expressed. Grief dressed in black has to wear bright red underwear. The more confident you feel, the more red we see.

Taurus/Taurus Rising* (Apr 20-May 21): Take life's waters slowly. Pleasure and you are not strange bedfellows. Where you get lost in your grief is when you do not stop to ask the next psychological question. Your warmth, attractiveness and magnetism bring the world's bounty to your feet, yet what keeps these gifts around you is your willingness to exactly understand why they are offered in the first place. We respond coldly when we sense we've begun to take what's given for granted. An askance look, a dismissive tone or a message retuned a bit too slowly are all clues to those of us who have been more diligent in our response to you than you have been to us. Yes, you give good love, but after a spell, we can begin to grieve what we miss beyond your physical prowess and sensual ways. Scorpio throws down the gauntlet. The battle lines are drawn; anticipate what you haven't given, and then do so. If not, winter's going to be colder than your spring ass likes.

Gemini/Gemini Rising* (May 21-Jun 20): Get off the cross -- we can use the wood for burning. Or at the very least agree upon the safe word, to cease the ritualistic pain. You are no one's martyr. You're an open-minded, adaptable air sign -- well, that's what you signed on for by being born at spring's end. The middle fall's five cups can keep your thoughts obsessed on what's lacking. If you perceive a problem in your relationship, then it's up to you to bring it up for discussion. Intimate to co-workers to the help, get on with the business of communication and negotiation, otherwise you're going to continue to permeate any important atmosphere with your gossip columnist like taint. Innuendo doth not work for you. It will come back on you, as if you were born the bald-headed stepchild no one wanted. What will aid your progression is recognizing where you have given before asked, only to come to resent those who accepted your help. First sign of ending a self-destructive habit is acknowledging you have it. Grief and loss are not perpetual. Where's the gratitude for those who've loved you absolutely?

Cancer/Cancer Rising* (Jun 21-July 21): Ready to communicate those wounds you thought you'd left behind, huh? This New Moon in Scorpio, 10/26 at 255p CDT, has the trimmings of fixing the past. Like Scrooge and his three ghosts of Christmas, you have decided upon your chosen fate. That is, you choose your fate. Your Tarot GPS can flood your emotional nature as if you were being water boarded. Or you can choose to dry up and air out, leaving water's natural tendency to descend in ascendant hands. Fuck (water signs like curse words because of their pure feeling expressive nature) karmic deeds gone wrong, a la past lives. F*#k childhood and unevolved parents. You grow beyond those past trolls. The mythical beings, be they charming princes or hookers with hearts of gold, rest in your surrounding auric field to support and commend your best behaviors. Joy is your birthright, once you cease expelling tears for pasts done.

Leo/Leo Rising* (July 22-Aug 22): Healthy and evolved Scorpions model behaviors that teach you how to have pure self-acceptance. The five cups of this time of year chill out your fiery self. To whom are you committed? Once you know, and then admit that you can get on with the business of living a life worth living. However, suppression of your heart's desires takes you back. You might as well be a Southern Negro in the late 19th century, traveling with Mr. Crow. Ouch. Suppression brings out the overly cautious, but repression brings out the pathologically crazy -- not only in you but also toward you. Accept where you can (and have) gone overboard. Then you can begin and continue to heal. No one has a more consistently supportive spirit after you realize you are your own worst enemy. Love asked for does not mean it has less worth when given ... remember that you can too easily appear as if you don't need love. Too much ice (Scorpio is, after all, a fixed water sign ... ice, hello) interferes with your fire.

Virgo/Virgo Rising* (Aug 22-Sept 22): You have found a kindred soul in the Scorpion. Both of you have a highly critical perception, a need to sometimes find fault and a quiet strength and passion for connection, once someone has been found worthy or perfect. Allow their contemplative-feeling self to fecundate your barren and singular self. Accept the imperfections of your current connections as you commit to overcoming them (the imperfections, not the persons). With Mercury (communications/mind) moving along with Venus (affection needs/receptivity) in Scorpio, realize you get more through the use of timing, poetry and charm. These two planets are conspiring to increase your value to yourself and others. Learn to define, and then only speak from who you are, not from what you are not. Your creativity increases exponentially when you specialize and focus on what you know you excel at.

Libra/Libra Rising* (Sep 23-Oct 22): If you're going to stalk anyone, stalk you. Vigilantly guard your thoughts, as if each one came from Fort Knox. No, you're not about to invent something that demands the services of a patent attorney. But in your daily relationship power dynamic, quiet answers turn away rage and give you an upper hand. You do not have to be right each time. However, being heard matters most. With two major connecting energies in Scorpio, self-worth reflected back to you has rarely been more important. Do not mistake someone's excessive attention as an increase in your self-worth. Seem contradictory? No, once you consider that "stalker" and "excessive" can indicate a "lack" within you. Just how much reassurance do you really need? Know your own worth first, then you can assess the value of what's being offered. Quality trumps quantity every time. Anyway, fake assets do not move as freely, do they?
