Scorpio/Scorpio Rising* (Oct 23-Nov 21): On the eighth day of Christmas/My true love gave to me/Eight maids a-milking ... being a sign of distinct feeling depths, you would have the only symbol that is overtly working. (Although nine ladies dancing and 11 pipers piping can be considered working; after all, the Pied Piper was hired as a rat catcher.) Now, whether it is hard for a living or working to bring up your emotional depths to share with an understanding partner, who knows? The work is in a world where ejaculation is referred to as "leche" (milk), much better than "come" or "jizz." Women can ejaculate, too. Or another use of milk in terms of feeding the progeny produced by the seed. After all, you have little compunction to judge anything that demonstrates pleasure between consenting adults. The ninth (ladies dancing) and 10th (lords a-leaping) days inadvertently lead to the joyous eight milking maids. How? Remember, this is a celebratory song; each day builds upon the next. Once we get to the 10th day, with leaping lords, there's some excitement to milk ... early winter heightens your mind's focus on naming your pleasures and inspiring those you desire to fulfill them.

Sagittarius/Sagittarius Rising* (Nov 22-Dec 19): On the ninth day of Christmas/My true love gave to me/Nine ladies dancing ... my first thoughts went to a strip club, and then to more formal dancing as seen in The Nutcracker. These do not have to be mutually exclusive. You can enjoy base and refined forms of entertainment. What's a lap dance between friends? By itself, dance is about physical movement to express feelings. Your independent spirit makes no moralistic judgment when dance is seen as a tool to demonstrate the joy of living. If happening to judge, then you are going home to those whose values you haven't examined. Fights ensue between you and said judge, as you have been coming into your own sense of what your absolute and timeless truths are for the past three years. Your ruler, Jupiter, begins to move forward on Christmas Day, so your ability to overlook and forgive reigns supreme.

Capricorn/Capricorn Rising* (Dec 21-Jan 19): On the tenth day of Christmas/My true love gave to me/Ten lords a-leaping ... exactly what are these lords leaping around about? Did they make a killing in real estate or Wall Street? I want to believe that they were excited about the 12 drummers, 11 pipers and the preceding nine ladies dancing. These lords know the importance of partying, as the ancient Romans did with their Saturnalia when servants became masters and vice versa. What or who would make you leap, a.k.a. jump for joy? After all, this is an English Christmas carol; we do not have lords in America. We have people (usually evangelicals and politicians who pander to them) who lord their way of life over us. Unaffectionate parents and burned-out teachers lord over their children and charges. Once in power, are you lording over others? Be careful, the next two days in this carol are about relaxing your normal guards. Time to follow suit.

Aquarius/Aquarius Rising*(Jan 20-Feb 19): On the eleventh day of Christmas/My true love gave to me/Eleven pipers piping ... pied piper and piping in clothing come to mind. Pied (multicolored) clothing leads rats away from the city of Hamelin with his magic pipe. No payment from the city. Instead of hiring a lawyer, he led the children away from the city. Children represent our future and creativity. We have to pay our dues to learn our craft, no overnight sensations or quick fixes. Suppress our creativity at our peril, as in the alluring meth or crack pipe. Or even worse for you star children, to underutilize or not use your creativity for the good of all and you're more likely to be led away, becoming antisocial or, worse, addicted. Like the turtledoves, there are 22 pipers piping, so these musicians play as the food for love, a la Shakespeare.
