This less expensive, more casual offshoot of the P.F. Chang’s chain really does have a lot in common with a small-town diner. Customers order from a counter at the front of the room, near a loud, open kitchen where a handful of cooks toss ingredients into big metal woks and stir up made-to-order versions of phad Thai, lo mein, Asian coconut curry and Mandarin kung pao.
