Picnic for the Planet

The free performance is the culmination of StoneLion Puppet Theatre's 2009 series of Green Day festivals throughout the region. The performance will feature giant ant puppets, a sixteen foot tall picnic basket, enormous dancing flowers, acrobats, a children's chorus and an appearance by Mother Earth. Also featured is a giant picnic blanket constructed from quilt squares decorated by Kansas City area school children.
