It used to be that Kansas Citians had to drive to Lawrence if they wanted to quell a hankering for a Planet Sub sandwich. These days, however, there are numerous KC locations at which to experience the metro’s version of that University of Kansas staple Yello Sub. All offer fine oven-toasted subs in a boggling array of combinations, with or without meat. (The place is a thrill for vegetarians.) The bread is made from scratch, and the cookies are fresh-baked.
