Such is the band's revolving door. The Florida metalcore kids are a fivesome in theory, though they've churned through three singers, three bass players, three guitarists and two drummers since 1998. But no matter who's riding the musical merry-go-round, Poison the Well has managed to maintain its relatively reliable output of passionate hard rock that moves from guttural howling to slow-dance crooning back to guttural howling. Lace up your kicks tight for the swirling mosh pit. And bring a guitar pick while you're at it. Who knows when your next chance to join the band might come.
