POST-HALLOWEEN PIRATES

The Kansas City Chiefs recently announced that Daktronics will retrofit the football-shaped scoreboards at Arrowhead Stadium (1 Arrowhead Drive, at Interstate 70 and the Blue Ridge Cutoff). The high-definition video displays may not be ready until 2010, which is fine, because the Herminators don't make many plays worthy of the big screen. At noon, the Chiefs line up against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, a team with a stout defense, a head coach kidded for his resemblance to a homicidal doll, and former Jayhawk Aqib Talib. Officially, seats sell for $41 and up. Given the sad state of things, fans should be able to find lower prices on the secondary ticket market.
