Across from Sprint Center, Raglan Road greets its patrons with the smell of whiskey barrels. Everything is imported from Ireland - from the pictures on the wall to the bar stools and the chandeliers. The pub’s themed rooms are perfect for private parties, and a huge wraparound patio fills quickly when concerts and events take place across the street. It's both authentic and impressive at the same time - on weekends, though, it’s best seen early in the evening, before Top 40 cover bands fill the Grand Room and sloshy Power & Light District partiers bump and grind in front of the stage.

Restaurant Details

This vast, antique-filled, over-the-top Irish saloon reportedly cost a pretty penny to construct, and it shows. It’s the fantasy version of a “neighborhood” Irish pub, with cold ale, excellent fish and chips, burgers, scallops, and Guinness bangers and mash. The menu – created by Irish chef Kevin Dundon – isn’t elaborate, though the presentation of certain dishes is clever and sometimes whimsical (desserts can be too clever for their own good). It’s a lively place, and if you’re dining in the main room with the tall Corinthian columns, be warned: It can get as noisy as Dublin’s Connelly Station — Charles Ferruzza

We, being myself and my husband, went a few weeks ago...had a BLAST! We bought tickets to ACE to see the movie UP in 3D and while we waited to see the movie walked down a ways to the Pub. I don't know how most the week is but Sunday is a great time to go if you want a quite meal and it to be a hint of romantic. They have low lighting, large wood table and chairs, and great food. We spent about 40 bucks on our meal and drinks. It was like fine dinning at a affordable price. Most fine dinning cost you at least 75 bucks or more...this was worth the money. As far as I know the food is authentic and full of flavor. I didn't use the restroom but I did "sneak" into the Whiskey room and looked at the stored bottles that people have drank from. The floors and tables were kept up and clean. They have a long bar if that is where you wish to sit along with tale bar stools and tables sitting around. There was also a little stage for their live bands. We sat back a little to be a little more secluded plus we wanted a table and chair and an added bonus of being away from the other people. Our waitress was more then helpful and explained food on the menu. She was well dressed and polite. She didn't over bear us with her presence and kept up on drinks. Everything was top notched and we walked out with smiles on our faces and a great desire to return. I've highly recommended this Pub to a lot of friends and family.

The building is gorgeous and so was the presentation of the food. However, the flavor and tastes did not match either of those good qualities. I order fish and chips, while my wife ordered a pasta/chicken special. Needless to say, both were very bland and uneventful other than the before mentioned presentation. Fish and Chips at many other places is better and better value. Overall, quality of food was not commensurate with the prices.
