As neighborhoody as a downtown tavern can get, the Red Front Bar and Grill specializes in cheap beer served by pretty women. This small, dark watering hole is a mixed bag with its tile-and-grout bar, tiny dance floor in the back and assorted cast of regulars who come from blocks around to crowd the place for last call. Much like its sister location, Gilhoulys on 39th Street, the Red Front can get a little rough. However, when people are on their best behavior, this little spot on Admiral is one of the better spots between the River Market and the P&L to unwind.
