Retro Gifts

Sometimes the best new stuff for gift giving is actually old stuff. Kim Dye, editor-in-chief of Vintage Market magazine, knows this, which is why she set up the Vintage Market Holiday Boutiques at Zona Rosa (Interstate 29 and Barry Road) to run through January 2, with marathon shopping hours from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. The market offers vintage and retro home furnishings, jewelry, clothing and accessories from 10 boutique vendors, including the Pink Chandelier, Three Shabby Chicks, Eclectibles, and the Muse Girls (who sell vintage Christmas goodies). The market is located across from the Gymboree side entrance at Zona Rosa, at 8732 North Dixon Avenue. See northlandvintagemarket.blogspot.com.
