The owner of this cozy Kansas barbecue joint is award-winning chef Bob Palmgren, who turned his attention from four-star dining in 2003 and began smoking meats and frying up corn fritters and seasoned french fries. Palmgrens tender baby-back ribs may be the best youll find on the Kansas side of the state line. And this barbecue shack may be the only one in town that offers breakfast, including some damned fine double-smoked bacon, smoked sausages on toast, and biscuits and gravy. — Charles Ferruzza

I am so excited to have this band play at the JCYM Christmas Cotillion at Meadowbrook Country Club. They are really in for a great surprise.
Had a slab, and a burnt end dinner. Between two of us- we took home a LOT of leftovers. Fries were good, fried mushrooms - probably could have cooked a bit longer, one of the big ones was still frozen in the middle, but came with a wonderful dip.
The slab had a LOT of meat on it and whew, watch out for the sauce- it isn't hot- it is very sweet. I loved it- the wife didn't care for it.
Burnt ends were great.

No A/C and one of the specialities is sweet potato fries but they were so salty and almost burnt you could not eat them...
Turkey was ok but the sauce was so dang hot.
It was pretty sad tonight!! The owner worked for Plaza 111 and the biggest restaurants in New York. Invest in an A/C unit tight wad!!!!!
