Rock and Wild

The lineup for Saturday's Rock Culture Convention is a serious clusterfuck — in the best way. Of course, this festival of fishnets and permanent ink features bands, including Queens Club, Not a Planet and Brian "Head" Welch (the ex-Korn guitarist who turned over the Jesus leaf). Also appearing: a Suicide Girl (Rachael Reckless), a guy who tried to win American Idol with a screamo song (Ryan Hart), a supermodel (Angelina Valentine), and a woman whose TV credits include Survivor and Rock of Love (Mindy Love). As if you'll have any attention left to give, Rock Con also features belly dancing, a fashion show and a martial-arts exhibition, plus vendors of edgy lifestyle products. The daylong affair runs from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Municipal Auditorium (301 West 13th Street, 816-513-5000). Tickets cost $10 in advance or $12 at the door. See rockculturecon.com.
