The Leawood outpost of the cozy and unpretentious café of the same name on 39th Street has many of the original venues elements: the menu that changes daily, friendly and attentive service, baskets of crusty Farm to Market bread, inspired desserts. But theres an undeniably hoity-toity air to this satellite location that takes some of the charm -- and a lot of the congeniality -- out of dining here. Devoted fans of chefs Ted Habiger and Andrew Sloan, though, probably wont mind the lack of joie de vivre. — Charles Ferruzza
