Regulars at the oldest barbecue restaurant in Kansas City for years called this no-frills place the bucket shop because, along with its meaty ribs, it used to sell its beer in metal buckets. People still stand in line to get into Rosedales clean, spacious dining room and order at the counter, where slabs of ribs share the menu with hearty beef, pork and ham sandwiches, barbecued chicken and crispy french fries served hot in a waxed-paper bag. If barbecues not your thing, theres chili and hot dogs. — Charles Ferruzza

Dont like the sauce. The ribs are good, so is the beef sandwiches. Alot of fries for your money. I grew up eating at this joint, being its my moms favorite. As I got older, I graduated to Bryants, Joes, and the Best kept secret in Wyandotte County , The Woodyard.
