Royals Opening Day

Today is opening day at Kauffman Stadium, a wonderful moment when the world seems full of possibilities and everyone is equal (except for the Red Sox and Yankees). Thousands of fans came out to watch the Royals take on the Detroit Tigers, certain that this year, finally, the team could win the AL Central. Or at least get out of last place. Come let their joy wash over you before the weight of the world crushes it.
