Salsa in the Streets

Lambada may have been the "forbidden" dance, but salsa, a Caribbean dance form corresponding with a musical style of the same name, is the sassy dance. Although generally performed as a partner dance, there are solo forms for dancers who prefer to lone-wolf it on the dance floor (LOSERS). Frankly, no incidence of solo salsa dancing has been documented in over forty years, so really, who are you to rock the boat? What, are you the Holden Caulfield of Caribbean dance? Take your favorite partner to the Legends at Village West tonight for free salsa lessons in the street, provided by ineedmysalsa.com., followed by performances from area salsa bands.
