Scratched Off

If you're going to scrape my brand-new car, how about leaving a note?

Hey, you — the guy or girl in Lawrence who scraped the paint off my three-week-old Honda Civic. Thanks to you, it practically has more scratches than miles. It was a beautiful blue. Now it's a Pollock. You know, I think I could understand if it was some hugantic SUV. Hell, I'd be there with you. But when you pick on the little guy, that's just wrong. Oh, and thanks for not putting your information down on my windshield. I really didn't expect anything. Except maybe an anonymous apology. But I guess a little courtesy is too much to ask for these days.

You probably parked like an asshole and deserve it! Or maybe you were talking on your cell phone, cut them off, and they followed you.

I can totally feel your pain!!! I drive an older car its an 88 beretta in the last 2 years my car has been the subject of 3 different hit and runs. The last one occured while my car was parked in front of my home and it really is sad. I guess people feel that if its an older vehicle then they have the right to destroy other peoples property. But in fact I am a single mother of 3 kids and that just happens to be all I can afford at this time. People just have no kind of respect what so ever when it comes to other peoples property. I worked very hard to buy that car and it is what gets myself and my kids where we need to go. Hmmmm who wants to hit my car next???
