Shen Yun Performing Arts has kept KC on its tour list for the past few years, and each time the dancers, musicians and singers roll out a new program steeped in 5,000 years of Chinese culture. At 7:30 p.m., see around 20 vignettes featuring classical Chinese ethnic and folk dances as Shen Yun starts a two-night stint at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts (1601 Broadway, 816-994-7222).
