Side Pockets in Lee’s Summit is easily the size of a barn, and with good reason. The place is a game-lover’s paradise, both participation and spectator-wise. Pool tables and dart boards are positioned throughout the sprawling floor plan, and there’s not one seat in the house that doesn’t have a sports-tuned plasma screen or giant high-def screen within viewing proximity. Pay-per-view events play for free here and Tuesday nights mean trivia. When all the competing makes you hungry, the food menu offers a wide variety of appetizers, sandwiches, entrees and desserts, plus early and late happy hours.
