A former Hy-Vee at 10118 W. 119th Street in Overland Park is now the massive 888 International Market, carrying products from China, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam and Korea. Words alone can't convey the experience, so food blogger Jonathan Bender took some pictures for Fat City readers.

This is one of the few places in the city you can get a whole roast duck with the head still attached. The roasted ducks will set you back $18.

It's good stuff. Love their little cafe. Try the soup dumpling and some of their homemade entrees. As far as asian markets go, it's pretty good. But the Rivermarket still has the most. You have 3 or 4 asian market stores within a square mile. My favorite place to get bubble tea is Kim Long's. FollowTheEater dot com

Wowza, we are definitely going to check that out! I was a little skeptical about hot dogs in rolls being part of the asian market experience, but variety is the spice of life.... and homemade bubble teas? I'm all over it!
