University of Missouri quarterback Chase Daniel appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated after leading the Tigers past the Kansas Jayhawks in the 2007 edition of the Border Showdown. Saturday's tilt takes place at Arrowhead Stadium (Interstate 70 and the Blue Ridge Cutoff), as it did last year, but not nearly as much is on the line. Mizzou already has clinched a berth in the Big 12 championship game, and KU has dropped four of its last five. What remains is the rivalry, which is good enough. The 11:30 a.m. contest is officially sold out, but brokers and other sources are offering tickets at reasonable prices. Fox Sports will carry the game on TV.
