Supernatural Sightseeing

Educational activities on All Hallows' Eve are often few and far between. For example, reading the ingredients on a candy-corn bag is no more a chemistry lesson than bobbing for apples is a lesson in physics. However, history buffs and fans of the ethereal can join in a history hunt from 8 to 11 tonight at the Haunted Haskell Tour at Haskell Indian Nations University (155 Indian Avenue in Lawrence). Originally founded as an industrial training school for American Indian children, Haskell dates back to the 1850s and has a legacy of reportedly haunted sites around campus. This guided tour will take participants to these spots. Admission costs $5; students get in for $3, and Haskell students take the tour for free. Tickets are available at the Haskell Cultural Center & Museum. Call 785-832-6686 to reserve a spot.
